With the participation of the esteemed executives of the Presidency of Defence Industries, we successfully launched AKDENİZ, the 9th MILGEM ship, at our shipyard on Monday (02.02.2026).
Within the scope of the procurement agreement signed between the Presidency of Defence Industries and the TAIS–STM joint venture, construction activities for the project vessels are continuing successfully.
As part of the MILGEM Project, the construction and outfitting activities of the 6th, 9th, and 12th ships at our shipyard are progressing in line with the planned schedule.
We will continue to contribute to our national defense industry without slowing down and wish this achievement to be beneficial for our country and the defense of the Blue Homeland.
