Another Source of Pride for Our Country and the Defense of the Blue Homeland!
With its original and national design, our shipyard has added another success to its shipbuilding achievements. The first ship of the 8 New Type Landing Craft Tank (YLCT) Project, Ç-159, was launched on Saturday, February 22, with a ceremony.
The ceremony was held with the participation of the President of Defence Industry Agency, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Deputy Minister of National Defense Bilal Durdalı, Commander of the First Army General Metin Tokel, Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Kadir Yıldız, along with high-ranking military and civilian officials, as well as representatives from the private sector and from friendly and allied nations.
