The Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV90) is designed to conduct border patrols, defend territorial waters, and engage in maritime operations including the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). It is equipped to perform Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations. Additionally, the vessel is fully capable of executing Surface Warfare, Anti-Air Warfare, and Maritime Security Operations, such as anti-piracy, anti-terrorism, anti-smuggling, anti-human trafficking, and anti-drug initiatives. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in the protection of critical infrastructure at sea and in the enforcement of fishery regulations.
